Meet Dr. Van De Loo
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Miranda Van De Loo is a Nurse Practitioner who initially started with primary care and family practice, but was drawn to helping her patients work through their mental health concerns. As the pandemic began, she began seeing more patients with suicidal ideation, depression, and anxiety, and her passion drove her to become certified in mental health and complete an advanced practice residency in psychiatry through the Medical College of Wisconsin to better serve her patient population. Dr. Van De Loo is a dual certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP).
Dr. Van De Loo strives to help patients find each stepping stone on their journey to a healthier lifestyle and improved quality of life. She values the differences between patients and emphasizes quality of care over quantity of medication and utilizes therapeutic techniques such as CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. Through fostering a trusting collaboration with open communication, she works with her patients to determine their next stepping stones rather than assigning tasks.

Please note, Dr. Van De Loo is a Nurse Practitioner who earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice, not a MD or DO.
